Collection and Use of Voluntary Information
Open Circle, a program of the Wellesley Centers for Women
at Wellesley College, collects voluntary information from
users of its web site including organizational name, address
and other contact information as well as information relating
to grant applications, such as information contained in
Letters of Inquiry and other grant forms. In addition,
if you become a registered user of the Open Circle web
site, we will require you to give us contact and content
preference information. All personal information submitted
to this site is voluntary and at the user’s discretion.
We use the personal data you submit to process grant applications,
to provide you with useful information, to communicate with
you, and to tailor your experience at our site — showing
you content that we think you might be interested in, and
displaying the content according to your declared preferences.
Open Circle, the Wellesley Centers for Women and Wellesley

with other similar organizations, but we will not otherwise
trade, sell or provide such information to third parties.

Open Circle collects IP addresses to conduct system administration and to conduct site analysis. If a user requests pages from Open Circle, Open Circle's servers enter the user’s IP address into a log. Open Circle does not associate IP addresses with records containing personal information. However, Open Circle will use IP addresses to identify users who refuse to comply with Open Circle’s rules or Terms and Conditions of Use, and to identify users who threaten our service, site, employees or others.
