Open Circle Meredith joined the Open Circle staff in 2004 as a trainer and consultant.   Meredith earned her BS in Business Adminstration with a concentration in Accounting from Merrimack College, and spent 4 years in the business world as an auditor for publicly traded companies and as a staff accountant.  Coming from a family of teachers, the call to education was strong a nd Meredith left her bustling business career behind in 1996 to pursue a Masters in Education from Lesley University.

Meredith joined the Open Circle staff in 2004 as a trainer and coach.  Prior to that, he earned her BS in Business Adminstration with a concentration in Accounting from Merrimack College, and spent 4 years in the business world as an auditor for publicly traded companies and as a staff accountant.  Coming from a family of teachers, the call to education was strong and Meredith left her bustling business career behind in 1996 to pursue a Masters in Education from Lesley University. Her first exposure to Open Circle was as a classroom teacher in the Newton Public Schools in 1998, when she trained in the Open Circle Core Program.  She continued her involvement by training to become an Open Circle Consulting Teacher and community-based teacher trainer.  Meredith's classroom experience informs her work as a trainer and consultant in supporting teachers' efforts with Open Circle implementation, social /emotional learning, and educating the whole child.   She strongly believes in empowering and supporting young people by teaching them lifelong skills that support the development of positive relationships, effective problem solving strategies, and a conscious sense of self.
