Margaret joined the Open Circle team in 2008 as a coach, but she was first introduced to Open Circle in 2006 when she served as an Open Circle School-Based Coach in the Boston Public Schools through a partnership with Project Aspire. Prior to working for Open Circle, she worked extensively as a clinician with at-risk youth, children and families in places such as the Manville School at the Judge Baker Children's Center.  She also worked as a Clinical Social Worker in the Adolescence Unit of the Boston Medical Center.  Margaret earned her M.S.W. degree from the Simmons Graduate School of Social Work, where she was awarded a Fellowship in Social Work from Children's Hospital and the Judge Baker Children's Center. She is excited by the work strengthening Open Circle in urban schools.
