Linda has been an Open Circle Coach since 2003. Prior to this position, Linda was a teacher and Evaluation Team Leader of students with special needs in Dorchester and Roxbury, Massachusetts, where she earned a Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching. She also was the cooperative teacher to over 25 education students from colleges in the Boston area. As an administrator, she coordinated the system-wide "Schools Without Failure – Positive Approaches to Discipline" program, building bridges among teachers, parents and students and training people to become leaders in their schools.  Linda was first exposed to Open Circle in 1992 when she participated in the Core Program.  She soon trained in the Open Circle Consulting Teacher Training and became the Mather School's Consulting Teacher for many years before retiring after 37 years of full time work.  Linda holds a MS in Ed. from Wheelock College.  Linda has a strong commitment to social justice and a passion for work with urban schools and brings a depth of knowledge and experience to Open Circle.
