Betsy joined Open Circle in 1993.  Over the years, she has served the organization in various leadership capacities and currently is a trainer. In addition to her work with Open Circle, Betsy is an Adjunct Faculty member for Lesley University’s Graduate School of Education. Betsy earned her BSBA in Management (with a minor in Education) from Bucknell University.  She spent 7 years in the corporate sector working for Scott Paper before earning her M.Ed. from Wheelock College.  She then transitioned to teaching 4th grade, where she used Open Circle. Betsy has a passion for supporting teachers through work in the field of Positive Psychology.  Her particular areas of interest include developing mindfulness, enhancing resilience and maximizing educators’ ability to flourish.
