Position Objective 

Lead the design, development, evaluation, and oversight of Open Circle’s core training and
coaching programs and curricula for teachers. Provide high-quality training and coaching to
participants in Open Circle’s professional development programs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, evaluate and oversee core training and coaching programs and materials
• Recruit, train, mentor and supervise staff trainers and coaches
• Research, evaluate and author curricula
• Provide training and coaching to participants in Open Circle programs (NOTE: training schedule is very busy during the summer months)
• Build strong working relationships with principals, administrators, and other key school staff, educating them about Open Circle and guiding them to develop multi-year Open Circle implementation plans
• Provide presentations about Open Circle at conferences, workshops and meetings
• Research and author articles for newsletters and other publications
• Assist in design and facilitation of Open Circle staff meetings and staff professional development activities
• Contribute to discussions and decisions about Open Circle’s leadership and growth
• Frequent travel within Massachusetts and periodic travel out of state
